Giethoorn is a breathtakingly beautiful little village in Holland (also called as Netherlands). It won’t be an overstatement to call it a piece of paradise on earth. It’s famous for its wooden bridges and canals. You won’t find any roads here. Transportation is done through boats in the canal. You can however see some cycling paths nowadays. Giethoorn is fondly called The Venice of Holland. Wanna see how it looks like? Come have a dekko.

Gorgeous. I lived in Belgium for four years and there are many little and not so little gems in the Netherlands and Belgium. Visit Brugge. It also has been called the Venice of the north.
Unless their main food is fish.
