Taj Mahal, Symbol of Love??

Taj Mahal, a beautiful monument (mausoleum) situated in Agra, India, is one of the seven wonders of the world. The world knows it as a symbol of Love, that was built by Shah Jahan, a Mughal Emperor, in loving memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz.

But here are some lesser known facts about Taj Mahal that will keep you searching for love in it and make you wonder whether you should really call it a symbol of love:

1. Mumtaz was the 4th wife of Shah Jahan out of his 7 wives. Love in wholesale?

2. Shah Jahan killed Mumtaz’s husband in order to marry her. Fantastic!
